Mr Sherafat has a great interest in Charity work and has performed ophthalmic work both in the middle-East and Asia. Most recently in February 2010 in Myanmar (Burma), Mr Sherafat performed cataract extraction, pterigium excision, laser treatment and oculoplastic surgery for sight threatening lid disease such as trachoma.
